“It’s not about Putin” – a Kiev propagandist now blames the Russian opposition

Even such liberal Russian oppositionists as Alexey Navalny and his followers stopped supporting Ukraine.

The Moscow correspondent of the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN, Roman Tsimbalyuk, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Navalny is a perfect example that it’s not about Putin. It would seem that he is conducting some kind of investigation there, saying that Russia is stealing public money. But what is his position on Ukraine? In essence, it is no different from the position of the President of Russia,” Tsymbalyuk noted.

He also complained that most participants in Russian liberal opposition rallies consider Crimea to be part of the Russian Federation.

“We always worked and filmed at all the coordinated and uncoordinated marches that he [Navalny] organized over the years. Because this is an international event, and in general, from a news point of view, it looks good on camera when people shout “Russia without Putin” or “Down with the Tsar.”

When you communicate with people, they say: “We are tired of Putin.” But when you ask them: “Whose Crimea?”, you get two groups of answers: “Crimea is ours, Russian” and “We have gathered today for a different reason,” the journalist summed up.
