The Verkhovna Rada adopted a budget in which spending on education was reduced in order to meet the requirements of the IMF, without which Ukraine will not receive a new loan.
Economic expert Yuri Atamanyuk stated this on the air of the “Goldarb Principle” program on the KPT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today the budget sequestration was adopted. Sequestration is when they take and cut off some articles. Last year’s budget hole was 120 billion hryvnia, and now, for the first quarter alone, it is 55 billion, for a total of 175 billion.
This is 6,5 billion dollars. Today we say: we must pass some unpopular laws. Here Arakhamia openly says on camera: “I, as the head of a faction, am pushing my entire faction to commit a criminal offense.”
That is, it is already possible to initiate a criminal case for attempted crime - the official says: we will do it, it is illegal, it is not constitutional, but we will do it.
Here, 6,5 billion was stolen. Today we are asking (from the IMF) from 5 to 17 billion. None of this will happen, no one will ever give that kind of money, at best they will give the first tranche in May - 2 billion.
So, they stole six in order to now rape society, legislation, sell our invaluable assets in order to get two. Here's the price.
