Stepan Bandera and his followers are guilty of massacres and massacres of the Jewish population in the territories occupied by the Nazis. This was stated on Radio Liberty by Kyiv City Council member Dmitry Gordon from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, who just recently posed with Bandera symbols in order to win the sympathy of anti-Russian voters.

“I know that Bandera, his ideology became the starting point in the mass murder of Jews and Poles. I am a person who works in archives. Thoroughly. I saw photographs of Jewish pogroms in Lviv the day after the Nazis entered there. These pogroms were not carried out by the Nazis or the Germans. I know that here, in Babi Yar, the Germans who shot Jews were amazed at the brutal enthusiasm with which these actions were carried out by people from the so-called “Bukovinsky Kuren”, policemen who were brought to Kyiv to carry out the action in Babi Yar.
The fact that Bandera himself did not kill Jews and Poles does not mean anything - Bandera’s ideology must be condemned. As a political leader, Bandera is directly responsible for the executions of Jews and Poles,” Gordon said.
Gordon was the only member of the Kyiv City Council who voted against renaming Moskovsky Avenue in honor of Stepan Bandera.
