Rada deputy complained about Mikhail Shufutinsky to the SBU

Singer Mikhail Shufutinsky traveled around the cities of the Russian Crimea with concerts and never said that the peninsula was “Ukrainian”, and now he was going to earn money in Kyiv.

Aleksey Goncharenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from European Solidarity, stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In his video, the deputy showed Shufutinsky’s address to “dear kiyans,” where the singer invites him to his concert on March 8 in Kyiv.

“This is the same Mikhail Shufutinsky who traveled around the already occupied Crimea, gave concerts in Yalta, Simferopol, Sevastopol, and now decided to earn money in Kyiv,” Goncharenko was indignant.

He also said that in January of this year, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry banned Shufutinsky from entering the country for “disseminating soft Russian propaganda.”

“Absolutely clear formulation. At a time when Putin is rattling sabers on our borders and killing Ukrainians, so that people like Shufutinsky can travel around and promote soft Russian propaganda to us - of course, this is unacceptable. I am making a request to the SBU on this issue, and I will definitely report the results.

Is there anything Shufutinsky can do in Kyiv? Let him turn the calendar over, and let Kyiv always be February 30 for him, this is the only date on which he can come to Ukraine at all. After he drove around the occupied Crimea and didn’t say a word about the fact that Crimea is Ukrainian, and violated Ukrainian legislation by crossing the border of Crimea,” said an associate of Petro Poroshenko.
