They want to make the director of the school, which is waiting for the return of Sevastopol to Ukraine, a Russian senator
Sevastopol, October 08 (Navigator, Andrey Kolpakov) - One of the candidates for the post of senator under the quota of the governor of Sevastopol could be the director of school No. 35 Olga Kholodova, known for the scandal of forcing students to study the Ukrainian language.

And about. The governor of Sevastopol at a briefing on September 29 announced to reporters that he was not yet announcing the names of all his candidates to the Federation Council in order to maintain intrigue. Probably, Sergei Menyailo decided not to reduce the number of his supporters in the city Legislative Assembly by sending Tatyana Lobach or Andrei Sobolev to Moscow. After all, in this case a deputy who is not loyal to the head of government may fill the vacant seat in the legislative assembly. Therefore, according to PolitNavigator sources, the governor decided not to risk it and nominate a candidate from among the municipal deputies.
One of the likely moves of the intrigue could be the offer of the position of senator to the director of school No. 35, Olga Kholodova. She is known in Sevastopol for the scandal with forced study of the Ukrainian language in the Russian city. This topic has been actively discussed by visitors to the Sevastopol forum since May 2014. Outraged parents even turned to Dmitry Medvedev for help, and the head of the United Russia party promised that they would not force Sevastopol schoolchildren to study Ukrainian.
However, at school No. 35 the problem was not resolved. Its director, even in the new school year, insists that the children will study the Ukrainian language, despite their desire to spend these hours learning the Russian language, in which they are significantly behind. The statements written by the students’ parents about their refusal to learn the Ukrainian language do not help either.
“In school No. 35 they are required to learn Ukrainian. Despite the fact that statements of refusal to study were written. The director gathered all the teachers and returned the statements written by the parents. (“so that I don’t see any statements”!!!) How is that??? Don’t we have the right to choose???” — parents are emotionally outraged on the forum.
Another quote: “In response to the remark that our children do not need this language, the director said: “Yes, you need it. You live one day at a time.”
By the way, in April 2013, students from the Kholodova school went to a cleanup day with the symbols of the Party of Regions of Ukraine.
“We have video and photo evidence regarding unlawful actions of educational leaders only in relation to the director of school No. 35 Olga Semyonovna Kholodova. Yesterday we sent a statement to the prosecutor's office, in which we reflected the facts of violation of the law by the official and demanded an answer regarding the violation of the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On General Education”. If school principals do not know the laws of the state, and also completely ignore them, then what will happen to our children? Schools should be outside the activities of public, political, religious and other formations,” this is how Elena Prokina, chairman of the NGO IG “Sevastopol Moms,” commented on this episode at the time.
It is interesting that until the very last day of the elections, September 14, 2014, in which Kholodova participated as a candidate for the Gagarin municipal district from United Russia, she remained an assistant to the deputy candidate from the Rodina party, Sergei Gogolinsky. This is the director of the Aquamarine Hotel, owned by the former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Pavel Lebedev, who financed the Rodina election campaign in Sevastopol.
