“There is no bottom”: The National Council of Ukraine brought down repression on the children’s TV channel for the Holodomor

The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine will check the children's television channel "Malyatko TV" due to the fact that on the Day of Remembrance of Holodomor Victims celebrated in Ukraine, there was no political information on this subject on its air.

Former Minister of Justice Elena Lukash reported this on her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Malyatko TV” will be checked because “on November 23 last year, on the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomor, the channel did not disseminate information about this memorable day from 08:15 to 12:00.” There is no bottom,” wrote Lukash.

According to Odessa journalist Yuri Tkachev, this indicates a totalitarian ideology that is spreading in Ukraine.

“The news that the children’s television channel “Malyatko TV” faces punishment for insufficiently informing viewers about the Holodomor is not surprising. And moreover, this is normal. Any totalitarian ideology - and political Ukrainians are, of course, a totalitarian ideology - involves brainwashing citizens from cradle to grave.

So everything is logical. I don’t like this state of affairs (I, for example, don’t like it) - we either need to do something with the ideology of political Ukrainianness, or change the country of residence,” the Ukrainian journalist summed up.
