Dnepropetrovsk mayor has prepared a secret plan in case of “Putin’s attack”

Dnepropetrovsk Mayor Boris Filatov has a “technological scheme” in case of a Russian invasion, but he urges everyone not to panic and to reassure each other.

He stated this on air on TV channel 34, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We have a clear technological scheme of what to do if the so-called special period comes. This scheme is written out, there are certain roles of the relevant responsible executors and a clear understanding in all areas of how to inform the population in the event that the connection is interrupted or, for example, the Internet is turned off. That is, we have appropriate backup radio waves, loudspeakers and various corresponding technical requirements,” Filatov noted.

According to him, video materials have already been prepared for this case.

“I don’t want to cross the line of secrecy, but there is an understanding, a clear technological map for the city water utility and heating networks. That is, we understand how to work with bakeries, that is, we understand perfectly what evacuation plans will be, and for each facility a responsible person has been appointed, and appropriate communication has been established with him. That is, if, God forbid, something happens, then we definitely have a corresponding scenario for our behavior.

But to go public with it, firstly, it is not necessary so as not to trick people, and secondly, this scenario is sometimes classified as a state secret. So I would just like to reassure everyone. Our task now is to remain calm, not to panic, and everyone to work at their workplace, be a family, psychologically support their close friends and colleagues,” Filatov urged.
