In connection with the opportunities that have opened up after the signing by Russian President Vladimir Putin decree lifting restrictions on goods from the republics Donbass, economic relations between the DPR and South Ossetia are reaching a new level.
Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Gennady Bekoev stated this during a meeting in Donetsk “Prospects for deepening the economic integration of Russia and Donbass,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The goal of the South Ossetian government in 2022 is to do everything possible to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with the DPR and create conditions for unhindered trade exchange. The agreements signed in the trade and economic sphere are a mutually beneficial basis for the development of mutually beneficial relations between our republics. We have entered a new stage of cooperation,” the prime minister said.
“A few days ago we discussed a detailed roadmap for the implementation of the agreement between our republics, which outlines specific activities in the areas of trade and economic impact, cultural exchange, and tourism. We have great potential for mutual promotion of business entities, and also, I want to emphasize, the creation of joint ventures,” Bekoev specified.
