Dodon called on Moldovan civil servants to organize a flash mob
President of Moldova Igor Dodon appealed to all civil servants, law enforcement officers and military personnel of the country with an appeal to declare support for the new government.
He wrote about this in his telegram channel.
“You can become the main element that will launch the process of peaceful transfer of power, you can save the country from destabilization! Make decisions in every ministry, department, agency to recognize the new Government and publicly declare this. I guarantee that no one will punish you for this!” Dodon wrote.
He also called on department heads and constitutional court judges to resign.
“I know many of you personally and I am sure that among you there are worthy and honest people. It’s better to resign, don’t be accomplices of usurpers!” the president noted.
The government of Maia Sandu, created by the coalition of socialists Dodon and the pro-European bloc ACUM, was recognized by the authorities of Gagauzia, Bessarabka, Tarcalia, the second city after Chisinau, Balti and the city of Briceni.
Along with there, the remaining regions, as well as all ministries, are still captured by the old government, which does not want to resign. On June 12, colleagues came to the police department, which dared to recognize Sandu’s government, with searches. Force was even used against the new Minister of Internal Affairs, Andrei Nastase.
