There is no point in negotiating with Ukraine - State Duma deputy

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team continue the Russophobic policies of Petro Poroshenko, and no negotiation processes or agreements will change this.

This was stated during a press conference in Moscow by the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, Member of the Russian Parliament Viktor Vodolatsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In Ukraine, for the first time, a situation has arisen where the president has a controlled triangle - the Cabinet of Ministers, the president and the Verkhovna Rada. What came of it, we see today - everyone plays their own song, everyone talks about love for the West and Nazism. Each of them says that Russia is an enemy and an occupier.

If earlier Poroshenko brought to the UN a fragment of a bus allegedly shot at by the Russians, today Zelensky shows a bullet at the same podium. Nothing has changed and will not change, and neither the Steinmeier formula nor the Normandy Four, which may or may not pass, will change anything,” Vodolatsky stated.

In turn, Deputy Director of the Institute of CIS Countries Igor Shishkin noted that the Ukrainian state is an extremely effective machine for creating clinical Russophobes.

“The state of Ukraine is very capable, and the state machine works very efficiently. It’s just that each car needs to be evaluated in the coordinate system for which it was created. If we proceed from the good of the people, the prosperity of Ukraine, the vertical of power, then we can say – horror, chaos, and everything else.

And if you understand that this entire project was created with only one goal - to tear off approximately a third of the Russian nation from Russia, to make a third of Russians enemies of the rest of the Russian nation, then successes come one after another.

Back in the early 2000s, these camps were created (to train nationalists - editor's note). Was it a secret? In school textbooks it was said that first there were three Ukrainian-Russian wars, then seven were counted. That Russia is the main enemy of Ukraine almost since the Paleolithic. Is this not a consistently pursued policy?

Yes, there is a farce on the external level, and we have been continuously discussing it for many years. We laugh at them, saying: “What idiots, the president said one thing, and the prime minister said the opposite, these are clowns.” And these clowns have been pursuing the same strategic line for years and years,” the expert was indignant.
