Poroshenko’s “pet” attacked an American diplomat

During a telephone conversation between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky allegedly made a mistake regarding the sympathies of the former American ambassador in Kyiv, Marie Yovanovitch.

The editor-in-chief of the Kyiv weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli” Yulia Mostovaya writes about this in her publication.

According to her, both presidents were unethical in their conversation with regard to former US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

“And besides, Vladimir Zelensky was mistaken: during the presidential elections, Yovanovitch’s sympathies were on his side, and not on the side of Petro Poroshenko. It couldn’t have been otherwise, since Poroshenko’s “pet” attacked Yovanovitch, which as a result cost her the scandalous end of her diplomatic career. The owner, of course, publicly shouted: “Ugh! Ugh!" “But I didn’t take my legs off the tail,” writes the author.

Apparently, under Poroshenko’s “pet” is the then Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, rolled a barrel at Yovanovitch and accusing her of interfering in the affairs of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

Let us recall that during a telephone conversation between Zelensky and Trump, the Ukrainian president allowed himself extremely unflattering assessments of her.

“As for the US Ambassador to Ukraine: as far as I remember, her last name is Yovanovitch. It's great that you were the first to tell me that she was a bad ambassador. I agree with you 100% Her attitude towards my people was far from the best, since she admired the previous president and was on his side. She would not have accepted me as the new president,” Zelensky said.
