Donetsk may again be left without water - OSCE observers are afraid of coming under fire

The OSCE Mission is temporarily stopping enhanced monitoring during the rotation of duty shifts of employees of the Donetsk Filtration Station, which may lead to another shutdown.

The DPR Representative Office in the JCCC reported this in the official Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The DPR Representative Office noted that after the shelling of the DFS by the Ukrainian military on April 17, enhanced monitoring by the OSCE SMM during shift changes was a decisive factor for the further operation of the filtration station.

“We express our hope that alternative methods will soon be found to ensure the safety of DFS personnel. Otherwise, with further provocations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the refusal of employees to leave without enhanced monitoring of the Mission, the DFS will be stopped with the subsequent mothballing of production,” the department said.
