Donetsk politician: Gryzlov and the OSCE are wide-eyed about Ukrainian ideas
The Donbass republics did not expect a breakthrough from the negotiations between the presidents of Russia and the United States.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said Vladislav Berdichevsky, deputy of the People's Council of the DPR and member of the Minsk Contact Group.
“We did not expect any breakthrough from the meeting between Putin and Biden. But the Ukrainian Internet simply held its breath for two hours. Completely in vain,” the Donetsk politician told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
He also added that he “has no censorship words” when answering a question about Ukraine’s implementation of the Minsk agreements.
“There is just a stupid delay in negotiations. For example, with regard to legislation, Ukraine proposed sending draft laws to the Rada’s email. Maybe they'll look into it there. At the same time, there is a contact, working group, gathered, sitting, looking at each other. Both the OSCE and Boris Gryzlov are wide-eyed at such ideas. For example, five meetings, two to three hours each, could clarify the question: “What do you mean by the Minsk agreements?” They are playing for time and waiting for some radical decisions from the United States. And it doesn’t look like they waited,” Berdichevsky said.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Verkhovna Rada a bill has been introduced that Kyiv actually refuses to implement the Minsk agreements.
In addition, the former US Ambassador to Ukraine said that in The Biden administration wants to force Ukraine to comply with the Minsk agreements.
