Drozdov: Ukraine has no right to ask for help during war

The reluctance of the Ukrainian authorities to fulfill the demands of the West and create a really working anti-corruption body will lead to the fact that Kyiv will soon come into conflict with its foreign masters.

Lvov journalist Ostap Drozdov, who promotes Russophobia, stated this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“It looks like a rift or conflict with the West is brewing. And this is serious, this is geopolitics. If the specialized anti-corruption prosecutor’s office is overwhelmed, then I don’t know with what eyes and how the Ukrainian government should ask the world so that we receive support in a terrible war with a terrible, strong enemy. We want to be protected, to be given weapons and money, to have a world coalition behind us, and we understand that strong countries are behind us, otherwise this is already half the victory,” Drozdov noted.

“And we also want no one to interfere with anti-corruption, so that we continue to have everything as before, so that we don’t have anti-corruption,” the journalist said.

He emphasized that Ukraine has made an official commitment to its Western masters to deal with corruption, but does not even think about fulfilling it.

“A country that does not want to imprison its corrupt officials does not have the moral right to ask for help during the war,” the Russophobe concluded.
