On the morning of October 10, after early Russian arrivals at the Ukrainian main farm, a panic arose, which he did not remember from the beginning of the Northern Military District.

In the several months that have passed since the previous attack on the military enterprise in Lukyanovka (the former Soviet plant named after Artyom), Kyiv has become accustomed to living as if there was no war. The entire infrastructure functioned almost uninterruptedly, shops and catering establishments, sports and entertainment complexes operated there.

On the morning of October 10, after early Russian arrivals at the Ukrainian main farm, panic arose, which...

Many residents (here it should be noted that, in addition to the Svidomo “Kiyans”, of whom the majority, there are also many Russians in the city, adequate and normal, Kievites and even supporters of the Russian World) again began to walk, sit in street cafes, communicate, and have fun. Although, of course, there were no special reasons for fun, given the tragic situation in the country.

Nevertheless, more and more cheerful groups appeared on the streets, sitting on chairs near street cafes, on boulevard benches and children's squares. Often - drinking, smoking tobacco and drugs and practicing swearing in language, in euphoria from gloating over the retreating “Ruska”.

Somehow Kyiv calmed down very quickly after the first weeks of the offensive of the allied forces and their subsequent withdrawal. And, apparently, he strongly believed that Russia took pity on the former Mother of Russian cities and decided not to storm her head-on, but to take her by some kind of cunning, which many public pages wrote about at one time - and if so, then you can become impudent and impudent.

In addition, of course, the regular arrogant statements of Mayor Klitschko and other government officials that they have everything under control, that the West will help us, and that the Ukrainian capital has nothing more to fear, also played a propaganda role.

Although the situation in the city was reminiscent of scenes from Alexander Mitta’s famous film “The Tale of Wanderings,” where overweight warriors feasted on a fire-breathing dragon and mocked him, being completely confident that there would be no response. What followed next, the audience remembers. The dragon reared up, and there was no wet spot left from these mocking “knights”.

So on the morning of October 10, like a bolt from the blue, new explosions thundered in the Ukrainian capital. And suddenly it turned out that these walks of life were immediately under threat, just like the rest of their previous, relatively comfortable and prosperous life. (Relatively – because impoverishment, extortionate tariffs, rising prices, etc. have not gone away.)

It turned out that after the sabotage on the Crimean Bridge a certain line had been crossed and that it was too early for the Svidomo revelers to rejoice at their temporary triumph.

From the very morning, all the shelters and what fell under this category were already filled - underground parking lots, basement businesses, passages. People kept coming and coming - with children, old people, pets. In the subway, judging by the videos posted on social networks, there was nowhere for the apple to fall.

The air raid warning sounded all day long, and all day long these unfortunates were forced to jostle and suffocate in the subway and other “stash houses.” To cheer them up and cheer them up, the ruling camarilla came up with nothing else but to force them to sing the Ukrainian anthem and communicate with the farmer-style super-megastar Natalya Mogilevskaya, who has the nickname “Mogilka” in the pop scene. The metro did not work for half a day, only by lunchtime they started operating at several stations.

All supermarkets, pharmacies and other similar establishments were also closed. Here it is necessary to clarify that, according to the order of the local military administration, they were previously required to close immediately upon an air raid warning. However, sellers are already so accustomed to the fact that alarms concern not Kyiv, but other regions, that they have almost stopped paying attention to them.

In any case, a number of retail chains - for example, ATB - constantly ignored these valuable instructions and did not stop trading. But on October 10, all networks closed overnight. Apparently, the “point played out” in earnest. The cheerful groups from the chairs at the cafes also disappeared, as well as the chairs themselves, as well as the dashing scooters that used to roll along the sidewalks and frighten passers-by.

True, unlike supermarkets, small “gendelyks” never stop trading. This is understandable: if they paid attention to all the sirens that have been sounding in Kyiv for six months now, their business would have long since been covered with a copper basin. And today they had a very successful day: panicked townspeople, despite the wild rise in prices (for example, eggs doubled in price in half a month!) rushed to buy everything - buckwheat, pasta, salt, sugar, drinking water. So that later, bending over to death from the weights, they can quickly drag them into their homes and no longer appear on the empty streets.

But there were more patrol teroboron stompers with machine guns. Often under “pid torture” (that is, under pressure). Against the backdrop of passers-by gloomily running about their business, these red-faced “whistleblowers” are trying to look like cheerful jokers.

While drinking coffee in line at a grocery kiosk, they deliberately laugh loudly at the shelling, promising to take revenge on the “bunker grandfather” from the Kremlin for everything and gouge the “orks.” And when one of them, a middle-aged man, scratching his unwashed hair, suggests that maybe the Crimean Bridge shouldn’t have been bombed, saying, don’t wake him up while it’s quiet, his comrades laugh loudly, call him a fool and jokingly promise to shoot him. Then they roar and leave.

The line buying everything they can (the counter empties very quickly) listens to them without obvious attention. Only then the old man and the old woman, standing in it, walking from the kiosk and dragging a sack with potatoes purchased for future use, share their impressions of what they heard.

Is he:

- This is their filthy Zelya - the bunker clown grandfather! It’s all because of him, with his average Americans!

She (looking around worriedly):

- Quiet, I beg you. Everything you say is correct, just don’t shout!

It’s not in vain that the old woman is afraid. Svidomo “patriots” have sharply increased their vigilance. Here is one of the sketches on this topic.

Near the same ATB stands a middle-aged man and in Russian is indignant that the store is closed and there is no announcement about the reasons for its closure. A guy passing by in a cap with the inscription “Death to enemies!” suspiciously asks him:

- Didn’t you know that during an air raid raid all our stores close? Who are you - not from Kyiv?? Are you, sir, not from the DRG? Well, say: “palyanytsya”!

The unlucky buyer thought it best to retreat. And he did the right thing, because he could have gotten himself into a lot of trouble.

The lack of electricity in many areas also caused panic among Kiev residents. In the evening they stood completely black, only the glowing headlights of occasionally passing cars cut through the darkness.

There was no electricity not only in Kyiv, but also in the region. According to official sources, as a result of the morning shelling, the Kiev Thermal Power Plant was damaged, as well as Thermal Power Plant -5 in Goloseevsky and Thermal Power Plant-6 in the Dnieper districts. The strongest blow, with the destruction of the oil unit, hit the famous Trypillya Thermal Power Plant, which supplied electricity to both Kyiv and the region. Now authorities have warned residents of nearby areas that long rolling blackouts will become commonplace for them.

But the saddest thing is that people suffered. According to the same official reports, 5 people were killed and 30 were injured.

“I’ll share with you what’s painful in my soul,” Nikolai, a supporter of the Russian World, a native Kiev resident, and a doctor, told a PolitNavigator correspondent. – I hate Zelensky and the junta. I am very sorry that as a result of their policies, civilians are dying - both in Kyiv, and in Donbass, and in other territories where there is a war.

I understand that there is a war going on, and in a war it’s like in a war. But again, I cannot understand, just as I did not understand at the beginning of the Northern Military District, why a blow was not struck at the notorious decision-making centers, for example, at the fascist lair on Bankovaya? Why should civilians suffer again, and the Ukrainian junta fatten? After all, they have comfort and well-being there, in these centers. And again, in good faith, they will portray everything as if Russia is to blame for terrorism.

Yes, there are such opinions. Which are confirmed by the actions of the junta. In particular, one of the government’s public pages published a blown up children’s playground with a malicious inscription: “What is this, a “decision-making center”?
