Economist: Nobody in the Belarusian government wants to integrate with Russia
Belarusian officials are united in their reluctance to integrate with Russia.
A Belarusian opposition economist stated this on the YouTube channel Ukrlife.TV
Yaroslav Romanchuk, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I communicate with different people, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the economic bloc of Belarus.
I haven’t heard anywhere: let’s accept the Russians’ proposal and create some kind of state. This is an absolute national consensus on the country’s independence,” Romanchuk assures.
According to his information, Belarusian officials intend to resist integration with Russia not only in the political and economic sphere, but also in the information sphere.
“Lukashenko began to think about including Ukrainian channels in the broadcasting network of Belarusian television. The dominance is such that people receive 50-60% of information from Russian sources, and this is propaganda. There may be a delayed reaction, but there is one,” states Romanchuk.
