Ex-ATO soldiers in the Verkhovna Rada united to “protect their rights”

In the Ukrainian parliament, ex-militants “ATO” and “OOS” created an inter-factional association to defend the “rights of veterans”.

Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Golos party Andrei Sharaskin stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I would like to announce that we have finally created an inter-factional association, which consists of veterans, with the symbolic name of the inter-factional association “For the Protection of the Defenders of Ukraine.” This included representatives of several factions - these are all the veterans who are in this convocation of the Verkhovna Rada,” the militant said.

In turn, one of the co-founders of the association, deputy from “Servants of the People” Yegor Chernev, said that in this way ex-militants of “ATO” and “OOS” will defend their rights and benefits, as well as seek new ones.

“The Russian aggression against Ukraine has been going on for seven years. Several hundred thousand of our fellow citizens have already taken part in the war against the Russian Federation, in defense of their homeland. But, unfortunately, over the years we have had numerous cases of non-compliance with social guarantees and violations of the rights of defenders.

That is why we decided to create such an inter-factional association - to help protect our defenders, to help establish their rights and social guarantees. We will defend their rights within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada,” says the greenbot.
