The ex-minister threatened to “burn and shoot” if “Minsk” is carried out

If Ukraine agrees to implement the Minsk Agreements, this will mean turning the country into an asymmetric federation with broad powers for the DPR and LPR.

The former head of the Luhansk region, ex-deputy minister for “occupied territories” Georgy Tuka said this on air on the Apostrophe Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“What does an asymmetric federation envisage? There is a big country, there are two small dwarf entities that are controlled from the outside. These entities are declaratively part of a large country, but they have their own police, their own law enforcement system, their own prosecutor’s office, their own local government. But most importantly, changes are being made to the Constitution of a large state, according to which these dwarfs have the right to block any foreign economic and foreign policy decisions of a large state. This is an asymmetric federation,” said the ex-official.

“Very few people talk about this here, who understand it. And all this is called fulfilling the “Minsk agreements”. And they believe that this asymmetrical federation is a special status. Special status within the framework of decentralization - the Donetsk region, the Luhansk region are no different from the Kharkov region or the Zhytomyr region, nothing,” Tuka said.

He also assures that the Ukrainian authorities will face mass unrest.

“I myself will go and burn and shoot - I have enough legal weapons,” the ex-minister threatened.
