The weapons ordered for the three billion dollars, the allocation of which was recently announced by the US administration, will arrive in Ukraine only in two to three years.
Former NATO representative in Russia Harry Tabakh said this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Why? Because you must order from our military companies that make these weapons. That is, this weapon does not exist.
Or rather, it exists, we have it in the deserts, mothballed, and we could have given it to you yesterday, because we have thousands, hundreds of thousands of these M777 howitzers there, we have armored personnel carriers there, Haymars, we have it all, even these Hummers, vehicles that are no longer even in service. And they don’t give it, they don’t give me a thousand cars,” said the former NATO representative in the Russian Federation.
“This is a game of pulling the cat by the tail. And all the time the painful question - why and why? You will have to order this from our companies, and when they place this order for you, this weapon will come to you. By that time, you will either already be waging a war from the sewers, in the mountains and from houses, a guerrilla war, or you will already have a victory by that time, in two or three years,” Tabakh said.
