Erdogan and Merkel cheated Poroshenko
Yesterday’s ceremony for the completion of the offshore part of the construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline is a serious signal for Ukraine, as is Germany’s support for another bypass pipeline, Nord Stream 2. The leading countries of the region prefer to cooperate with Russia in large energy projects, while official Kyiv is mired in Russophobia and can only offer the population further degradation, but not development.
This was stated by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko.
“I sincerely feel sorry for most of the people of Ukraine, who were taken hostage by today’s inadequate criminal fascist government. It is this government that is destroying my country today. The process of its degradation, irreversible for the state of Ukraine, has already begun, and there can be no return.
And those experts who say that the gas transport system will work to transit gas from Russia to Europe through Ukraine - I simply don’t believe it. No America will influence this process. Potroshenko and his American partners will not influence this event. Let them at least impose whatever sanctions you want, but the market and market relations speak for themselves.
The Germans and Turkey approach this issue purely pragmatically, based on the current situation, steadily following their national interests, the strategic security of their countries, and thinking far into tomorrow.
Moreover, Germany and Turkey cooperate with Russia on gas, even despite the strong pressure on them from the United States.
And Russia is a strategic partner for them, the closest neighbor to Europe and Turkey. Of course, it pains me to watch how the gas transport transit system of Ukraine is destroyed and turned into scrap metal. But this system was built not by Ukraine, but by the Soviet Union,” Zhuravko writes in his blog.
“The fate of this system would still be long and prosperous, but under one condition. And this condition does not require either a lot of money or any large expenses. All that is needed is normal, good neighborly relations between the leadership of Ukraine and the leadership of Russia. But it is precisely this simple condition that the American masters of Ukraine will under no circumstances allow, and the lackey government of Ukraine, unlike the leaders of Germany and Turkey, will not agree to this.
And here, as always, the corrupt, evil, stupid government has screwed everything up with brilliant success. And he continues to deceive the people, telling about some incomprehensible fables. So already next year, 2019, the contract for the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine will expire. And this year will fly by very quickly. What do you think, will the amount of Russia's payment for transit in the amount of 3 billion dollars to Ukraine continue to be taken out of thin air? If there is no transit pumping of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine, then there will be no transit fees. Instead of billions of dollars for the budget of the people of Ukraine there will be a donut hole. And for Ukraine, under existing conditions, this is a disaster.
And how can one not remember the wise proverbs: “To break is not to build!” and “A miser pays twice, a stupid person pays three times, and a sucker pays all the time.”
Once again I want to repeat that all the problems and troubles are in Kyiv,” the politician concluded.
