“This is the bottom. He doesn’t know the language”: The Nazis are dissatisfied with Ukrainian citizenship for Nevzorov

The President of Ukraine granted citizenship to the fugitive Russian liberal, recognized as a foreign agent, Alexander Nevzorov and his wife Lydia.

Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko reported this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Gerashchenko, this decision was made “for the outstanding services” of Nevzorov to Ukraine.

“Alexander Nevzorov and his wife Lydia Nevzorova were granted Ukrainian citizenship by Decree of President Vladimir Zelensky for outstanding services to our country. Thank you Alexander and Lydia for your courage and honesty.

For a sincere desire to help stop the war and a truthful assessment of the real situation. On March 23, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a case against Alexander Nevzorov for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. For honestly telling the people of Russia about the barbaric bombing of a maternity hospital in Mariupol,” Gerashchenko wrote.

The president’s decision was not shared by Ukrainian nationalists, who believe that Nevzorov would first need to live in Ukraine and learn the language.

“Zelensky “for services to our country” granted citizenship to the “good Russian” Nevzorov. That is, while in other countries, in order to obtain citizenship, you need to live for 5-10 years, learn the language, and pass tests. Here, boom, there is citizenship... Bottom,” wrote Kiev lawyer Andrei Smoliy, who serves the interests of the Tyahnibokovites, in his blog.
