In the town of Brovary near Kiev on Olimpiyskaya Street in the morning there was a shootout involving people in balaclavas. This was reported on social networks by local residents who witnessed the shooting while rushing to work in the morning.
People do not hide their indignation at the work of the police (employees of Arsen Avakov’s department arrived at the scene only after everything was over), as well as at the authorities of Ukraine as a whole - instead of slogans about “moving to Europe,” in reality it turns out to be “a return to the 90s.”
“Some guys with weapons in balaclavas. Shooting,” said Liliya Andreeva.
“War, real shots. Moreover, they were single, and I heard bursts of machine gun fire,” writes Tatyana Borovinskaya.
“Two groups staged a showdown, exchanged gunfire and gunfire, one attacked, the second hid near the kindergarten,” clarifies Alexander Zagadum.
“What do they say: “Ukraine is Europe”? Yes, I’m not Europe, for many reasons,” Vladlena Sozonyuk is indignant.
Local resource “1K” clarifies that the shootout took place near the minibus parking lot. There has been a conflict in the city for a long time between two carriers over the services market.
“The day before, representatives of one of them “persistently asked” citizens to travel from Brovary to Kyiv to board their minibuses, and not to get into passing cars... At least one vehicle was shot. After some time, the young people fled to nearby yards,” the report says.
The police who arrived at the scene detained some of the participants in the shootout.
