Eurasia must abandon the use of the dollar as a reserve currency and deal a crushing blow to US hegemony.
This was stated by Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Glazyev, speaking to participants in the Donuzlav youth patriotic camp in Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must all together in Eurasia abandon the use of the dollar as a reserve currency. Americans will immediately lose the ability to finance their military spending and subversive activities abroad. This is the first blow to American hegemony. As soon as the dollar ceases to be a world currency in our region, it will fall,” Glazyev said.
He proposes to deliver a second blow to the United States by concluding an agreement on cybersecurity. The parties to the agreement must build a barrier around themselves - stop importing equipment and software, and abandon Western information systems.
“This will not be a cheap pleasure, but if we come to an agreement with China and India, we will have enough resources to switch to our own technological base in information technology. This will immediately nullify American aggression,” Glazyev said.
