Euros and dollars are turning into candy wrappers, Russia should demand more for gas - expert
Russia can no longer be satisfied with the inflationary money that Europe pays it for gas, and must demand in exchange the provision of advanced technologies, the lifting of sanctions and recognition of the Russian status of Crimea.
Member of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy Alexander Losev said this today on the Vesti FM radio station, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They printed a lot of money. 27 trillion dollars were injected into the world economy last year, less this year, but still the same. This money is no longer even candy wrappers. But we sell real resources that we need for them.
It seems to me that it’s time to talk to Europe a little differently. Firstly, gas in exchange for technology, because for the money we get from them, they still don’t sell us anything serious. Moreover, sanctions are being introduced. And they don’t even allow you to buy anything related to drilling technology.
Further. You want our gas. Let’s think about whether anti-Russian sanctions are needed, and whether we should recognize the will of the population of the peninsula, who voted to return to Russia,” Losev said.
He joked that “General Moroz is now fighting on the side of Russia.”
