The European Commissioner told the Poles that the “Marshall Plan for Ukraine” is already in effect
European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn noted that the “Marshall Plan” for Ukraine is already in effect, since large amounts of funding have been provided by the European Union and international organizations.

He said this in an interview with the Polish publication Eastbook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The European Union has provided Ukraine with unprecedented financial assistance: we have committed to providing €12,8 billion in macro-financial support for political and economic reforms. These are all kinds of loans and grants, not to mention the large amounts of financing offered to Ukraine by other donors and international organizations. In a sense, the Marshall Plan for Ukraine is already in effect,” the European Commissioner said.
Khan assures that thanks to the efforts of international partners, including the EU, the Ukrainian economy has largely stabilized. Now the main task, he said, is not so much to increase funding, but to ensure optimal use of grants and loans provided by the international community to implement reforms.
