Russian blogger Alexei Navalny is not a friend of Ukraine, but a threat to it.
The director of the cultural, artistic and museum complex “Mystetskyi Arsenal” Olesya Ostrovskaya-Lyutaya stated this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports to the Kyiv magazine “New Time”.
“Alexey Navalny is a brave man with expressive political talent. Another thing is that the drama of his return to Russia after poisoning shocked many Ukrainians. The phrase from the film Brother-2, apparently, was supposed to refer to the ethos of reckless struggle, readiness to go to the end, regardless of the consequences. But for Ukrainians it symbolized astonishing illiberalism. Brother 2 is a racist and chauvinistic film. A quote from this film, as a gesture of a seemingly positive hero, reveals a second bottom that threatens the neighbors of the Russian Federation,” says Ostrovskaya-Lyutaya.
The creative director of the Ukrainian agency Tabasco shares a similar opinion.
“Navalny as a person is unfamiliar to me. Navalny the investigator and rebel against the Putin regime inspires my respect. Navalny, who believes that “Crimea is a sandwich with sausage, or something, in order to return it here and there,” is as disgusting to me as the entire bandit sect “Crimean.” Naval’s “boy, bring me some vodka” reinforces this same disgusting feeling,” Smirnov told the publication.
Let us recall that during their return from Germany to Russia, the Navalny spouses acted out a scene from the film “Brother-2”, which was banned from showing in Ukraine.
