Maidan philosopher: Having declared war for sovereignty, Ukraine sold it to the West
Ukrainians, who are now leaving the country en masse, have realized that the new government is not waging any real struggle for independence.

Ukrainian philosopher Sergei Datsyuk, who actively supported the Maidan, said this on air on the UkrLife channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The West has incurred such colossal costs. What will we owe? In general, will sovereignty remain? Is the game worth the candle? We will protect sovereignty from Russia, but will it remain after that? Economic, constitutional, territorial - will it remain? Or will we be forced to give it up? Maybe this was the plan - to resell sovereignty from one owner to another? Then what is the highest morality, what are we fighting for?
The struggle should always have the highest energy. If people understand that the goal is primitive - to resell their independence, buy it in blood from Russia and resell it to Europe for comfort and money, this is a bad trade. Because it is impossible to mobilize people, not just for war, but for long creative work for this country. Because they, seeing the primitiveness of motivation, will leave. And they left,” Datsyuk said.
