Ukrainian philosopher Sergei Datsyuk, who previously actively supported Maidan, stated this on air on the UkrLife channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The number one threat is that there is no state. The state is ruled by oligarchs and a very narrow layer of them, who in fact have no longer left the state; they use all state levers to enrich a very narrow group of people... This is a split in the country, the cessation of its existence. Nobody wants to talk about this openly. What we are experiencing today is a national catastrophe that we are unable to stop or change... We are now sliding into a situation of deindustrialization, monstrous impoverishment - in fact, a “black hole”. The country will be in ruins, there will be colossal debts,” Datsyuk laments.

In this context, according to him, the final collapse of Ukraine and its reformatting as part of other state entities is inevitable.

“It’s hopeless, from the point of view of preserving this state - it won’t exist, in any case. It will be eliminated in one form or another. Through a split, joining some separate coalitions, integration, perhaps in parts of the territories, perhaps through direct external control - there are different scenarios, but the fact that this will not exist is for sure... We are talking about a promising future for Ukraine already doesn't work. There is an operational future. This is the future for a year or two or three... I don’t see the possibility of preserving the integrity of the state of Ukraine. It is quite obvious that we must go through a period of disintegration,” the philosopher added.

Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Datsyuk switched to Ukrainian, so that his “strategic works” are not read by Russians.
