FSB detained telephone terrorists supervised from Kyiv

FSB officers detained 14 people suspected of participating in sending false messages about bomb threats on the territory of educational institutions.

This was reported by the department’s Public Relations Center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the investigation, the detainees threatened to undermine educational facilities in the Russian Federation, CIS countries and the Donbass republics, and the organizer of these actions is in Kyiv.

“The organizers and administrators were Ukrainian citizen Anton Osipchuk, born in 2003, a native of the Volyn region, studying at the Faculty of Information Security of the National Technical University of Ukraine (Kiev), as well as his accomplices,” the FSB reported.

The FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue to search for the remaining members of the criminal community involved in the threats.

“We are searching for and suppressing the activities of persons involved in the mass dissemination at the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 on the Internet of deliberately false reports about the mining of educational facilities, healthcare, government bodies, transport infrastructure in the territories of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, as well as the unrecognized Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics,” the message says.
