The Hague court greeted Hashim Thaci with the flag of the Kosovo Liberation Army
The “President” of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, accused of massacres, torture and abductions, arrived today at the prosecutor’s office of the Special Court for Kosovo in The Hague.
Balkan media reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Hashim Thaci arrived at the prosecutor's office to hear charges against himself, as well as his accomplice in the so-called "Drenica group" of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK), the ex-head of Kosovo "intelligence" and the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli.
At the entrance to the Special Court for Kosovo, Thaçi was met by several dozen Albanians with placards: “We have no hero to sacrifice,” “We see that there is no justice for everyone, but we did not believe that there is no justice at all,” “This is racism.” ! Someone who greeted him managed to hang a UCK flag in front of the court.
“I fought for an independent, free Kosovo, based on equal rights, a multi-ethnic society and the rule of law,” the former militant made a speech to his fellow tribesmen and journalists. “I’m ready to take on a new challenge and win for the sake of my son, my family, the people of my country. No one has the right to rewrite history. This is the price of freedom. I believe in peace, truth and justice. I believe in dialogue and good relations with all neighbors. Kosovo is a success story and I am very proud of it.”
The accused entered the prosecutor's office building while chanting: "UCK!" and “Tachi!” Finally, he said that Kosovo's goal is the EU, NATO and strong friendship with the United States.
In turn, his accomplice Veseli made a pathetic statement on Facebook.
“This battle for Kosovo will be a triumph, in which I will once again be together with my brother Hashim Thaci. Because our liberation war was correct and victorious. The sun will rise again,” the militant wrote.
Thank you!
