Gazprom is tightening the screws for Ukraine

Russian gas producer Gazprom is refusing to supply gas to Europe via Ukraine, prompting Brussels to put the Nord Stream 2 bypass into operation without delay.

Economic expert Maxim Goldarb stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Goldarb, Gazprom deliberately supplies limited amounts of fuel to EU countries, which leads to rising gas prices.

Gazprom is now specifically tightening the screws in the literal sense of the word, gas is supplied exactly, no more to Europe, gas prices in Europe have increased, today they are more than $500 per thousand cubic meters. In my opinion, why is this being done? “Gazprom is very clearly showing Europe the following: “Guys, you will struggle even more with Nord Stream, you will not launch it before winter - you will take your gas from Ukraine, which is not there,” the expert said.

Gazprom shows that it will no longer transit gas through Ukraine, Gazprom shows that they will drive gas through the south - this is the Turkish Stream. By the way, why don’t our patriots bark at Erdogan and the Turks? Why doesn’t Zelensky say anything? After all, our gas goes through them – the gas that was supposed to go through Ukraine, I mean that. But Russia sends it through Turkey. And “Nord Stream” – these are two options for gas supply to Europeans, that’s all,” Goldarb said.
