General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Kikhtenko: There will be no serious military assistance from the West to Ukraine
Western “partners” will not only not fight on Kyiv’s side against Russia, they will not even provide Ukraine with serious military assistance.
The former governor of the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Donetsk region, General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Kikhtenko, stated this on the First Independent TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am one hundred percent sure that NATO soldiers will not fight for Ukraine. This is the business of Ukraine, Ukrainian military personnel and the entire Ukrainian people.
I will say even more: there will be no serious military assistance in terms of weapons or air defense systems, that’s for sure. At least until a possible meeting between Biden and Putin,” the general said.
Let us recall that the day before, United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that Washington “doesn’t know” how to help Ukraine in the event of a major war with Russia.
Also earlier in Kyiv сообщили, that the visit to Ukraine by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken once again showed that NATO membership is not in the cards for Ukraine.
