She stated this while answering questions from journalists outside the walls of the ZIK TV channel, which is being picketed by nationalists because of the broadcast of a program whose guest was the former deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Andrei Portnov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, before the program aired, one of the Verkhovna Rada deputies, whom Vlashchenko did not name, called her and burst out with threats.
“The story began with the fact that ten minutes before the famous broadcast, a deputy from the Popular Front called me, he is known, his last name is known. If you want to know who this is, then look who was the organizer of this entire social media campaign. Yuriy Lutsenko knows his last name, he can call him, Gritsak and the heads of all special services know his last name. He said that if there is a broadcast, he will threaten me with right-wing radicals, other people: “You know how they will behave.” He said a phrase that I can repeat now. He said: “You know perfectly well the fate of Elderberry.” I said I couldn't allow myself to be threatened. I hung up and immediately contacted all the heads of the special services,” Vlashchenko said.
Let us remind you that the broadcast with Andrei Portnov aired the day before and immediately became scandalous. Representatives of Ukrainian nationalists called it “another manifestation of the revenge of the previous government” and staged a picket at the office of the ZIK TV channel. They demand a public apology from the media management and the dismissal of the general producer and author of the program, Natalya Vlashchenko.
