Germany split into West and East - like Ukraine
Almost half of the German population (37 million people) constitute a potential “protest electorate”, a significant part of which, like in Ukraine, lives in the east of the country.
This is stated in the report of the Progressive Policy Foundation - “After Merkel: the “death of the gods” of German politics.

“The electoral map of Germany is very similar to the map of Ukraine; there is a clear split between West and East. Unlike vegetable “wessies,” Easterners were not exposed to “multi-cult” propaganda from school, and therefore react more actively to the policies of official Berlin,” the report says.
In addition, the authors note, 5 million Russian-speaking emigrants from post-Soviet countries played a significant role during the last elections to the Bundestag, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The bulk consists of “Russian Germans,” Soviet Jews, “Russian wives” and their children. The majority of them do not approve of the course towards the destruction of the Germany to which they once left,” the report says.
The authors predict that the 2017 Bundestag will be the last convocation of a parliament dominated by representatives of “classical” centrist parties.
“This will be the last term of Angela Merkel's chancellorship. The next party-political model will largely include representatives of anti-mainstream parties, elected by the votes of a protest electorate dissatisfied with the current state of affairs,” the report says.
