What's on TV? Oh, it’s still the same in the arena! Actors who do not acknowledge paternity. Mothers who abandoned their children. Or, yesterday I heard on NTV on TV, which was working in the background while visiting: one famous singer asks for an egg from another famous singer.
I remember, you know, a line from the work of Boris Borisovich: “They are again broadcasting on the radio something that degrades the human mind. This low ceiling is worse than the plague and leprosy...” Only instead of radio - any media.
And here you may get the misleading impression that there is nothing else in Russia. Only characters reminiscent of freaks from the now half-forgotten “Mask Show”. However, everything is completely different. Want some good news? I have them.
The WorldSkills Russian national team took first place at the EuroSkills European Championship in Graz. And she showed a truly phenomenal result: 13 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals. Incredible!
Let me remind you that WorldSkills are championships in professional skills. For example, the competition includes such disciplines as “Mobile Robotics” and “Fashion Technologies”. And Russian guys invariably triumph at such competitions.
Which once again proves: the main wealth of Russia is not gas or oil, but people, talented people, of whom our land has always been proud. And it is so important to talk about them, to bring news about true heroes to every home. But even more important is to give these people opportunities for self-realization on their land. So that they don’t rush abroad, so that they don’t go somewhere there, but stay in their homeland and make it more beautiful, better. But they can, one hundred percent, they can.
Talent combined with patriotism and justice is the whole secret of great Russia, its national idea. Well, shall we try? Shall we do it? Fortunately, the guys from WorldSkills showed a great example.
