The Ukrainian president who agrees to recognize Crimea as Russian territory will be carried out of the office feet first.
Anti-Russian Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the journalist, the position of Russian leader Vladimir Putin that Crimea is the territory of the Russian Federation and this is not discussed, nullifies any negotiations.
“I don’t believe in any negotiator between Russia and Ukraine, I don’t. Because all negotiations are meaningless for the reason that Putin is not going to give up Crimea and Donbass. It's just not going to happen. Donbass is still yes, Crimea – the issue is closed. And which Ukrainian president would agree with the loss of Crimea? This means that the negotiations are doomed in advance. This is a dead end... It's all pointless.
The conversation will be as follows. “Donbass is Ukrainian territory,” Putin will say, “Take it, what a problem. Only federalization is our condition, amnesty for militants, elections in Donbass, so that from there the militants will go here to the Verkhovna Rada, language, and so on.” There will be many conditions imposed. “But since you are taking Donbass, then, dear Western partners, you will then lift the sanctions from us.
