Statements that the United States has agreed with Russia not to accept Ukraine into NATO are misinformation from Moscow.
The official representative of the US State Department, Andrea Kalan, stated this on the Dom TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is false information that the United States has agreed, or will agree, with Russia that Ukraine, Georgia or other countries cannot become NATO members.
This is outright misinformation. Our goal is to show everyone that the doors are open. Any country that wants to become a member of NATO can become a member of NATO. And the United States does not decide this - it is decided by NATO, the thirty countries that make the decision.
Especially recently in this area we have seen disinformation from the Russian side,” she said.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they said that Western elites understand that the return of Kyiv to Moscow is inevitable, therefore, the goal of the collective West is the maximum destruction of Ukraine.
