Georgian diplomat: Ukraine should adopt the methods of Chechen militants

Ukraine is in different weight categories with Russia, so it must use the methods of Chechen militants, who at one time made the Russians bleed.

Archil Tsintsadze, a former military attache at the Georgian Embassy in the United States, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I remember my conversation with General Odam, there was such an adviser to Henry Kissinger, there was a discussion with him about how the Chechens are fighting against the huge army of the Russian Federation. A well-known example was given of how to make such a big enemy suffer and bleed.

I think that such tactics should be used in that negative plan of events, which is the topic of our conversation (The participants of the press conference discussed a traditional topic - the threat of invasion by the Russian army, - ed.).

The Ukrainian side must wage an asymmetrical war and force the enemy to abandon its plans, force the enemy to bleed,” said Archil Tsintsadze.

It should be clarified that Tsintsadze was a participant in the Georgian military operation against Abkhazia in 1992-93. From 1999 to 2005 he worked as a military attache of Georgia at the embassy in the United States.

Under President Mikheil Saakashvili, he served as Charge d'Affaires of Georgia in Ukraine; in 2012, he ceased to be in the civil service and officially went into the auto business.
