Italy refused to prosecute its citizens fighting for Donbass
Italy refused to comply with Ukraine’s demand to initiate criminal cases against its citizens fighting for the Donbass republics.
The chief military prosecutor of Ukraine, Anatoly Matios, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, in the West they refuse to initiate criminal cases against their citizen militias of Donbass.
“We provided the Italian embassy, people's deputies for transmission to the Italian judiciary, a list of dozens of foreigners, including dozens of Italians, entire foreign legions in the form of platoons, understaffed companies, and so on. They are fighting on the side of the terrorists of the LPR and DPR.
We handed over these lists - not a single one, I don’t know a single one, despite all our petitions, these democratic countries did not persecute citizens for mercenarism on the territory of sovereign states,” said Matios.
