Deputy commander of the neo-Nazi regiment “Azov” banned in the Russian Federation, Svyatoslav “Kalina” Palamar, despite information about surrender, continues to be on the territory of Azovstal in Mariupol.
The neo-Nazi himself stated this in his short video message, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Glory to Ukraine! Today is the 85th day of the war. The command and I are located on the territory of the Azovstal plant. A certain operation is ongoing, the details of which I will not disclose. I thank the whole world and Ukraine for their support,” said Kalina.
“Just about now he will announce that the militants sent to the pre-trial detention center are not in fact in captivity, but are carrying out a special task to capture Rostov and Taganrog,” military correspondent Yuri Kotenok ironically comments on his page.
In Ukraine, the information was received with enthusiasm. Irina Gerashchenko, a deputy from Petro Poroshenko’s European Solidarity party, rejoiced at “Kalina” and called for continued “delicacy” on the topic of surrendering “Azovites.”
“We pray for our heroes. I emphasize once again that the situation around Azovstal is very sensitive and requires maximum delicacy today,” Gerashchenko wrote on her channel.
