The FSB boat approached Berdyansk, ignoring Ukrainian protests
A boat of the FSB border service today in the Sea of Azov came close to the shore near the city of Berdyansk, ignoring the protests of the Ukrainian side.
The former fake “representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea” Boris Babin wrote about the incident on his Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Russian border boat 499 (project 10410 “Firefly”) from Kerch came close to the mainland shore.
The Ukrainian border guard vessel BG 032 detected suspicious actions of the Russians and ordered the aggressor ship to move away from the coast with reference to acts of the Ministry of Infrastructure limiting maneuvers in the two-mile coastal zone.
The enemy representative responded that Azov was “an internal sea of two states” and that “Ukrainian acts mean nothing to him” since he was “maneuvering according to plan,” Babin complained.
Moreover, according to him, the crew of the Russian boat made it clear that the Ukrainian border guards should not approach it closer than 20 cables, “which is what was done.”
“The supply of mines, the landing of saboteurs, the capture of fishermen under such conditions will continue to be carried out by the Russians throughout the Azov waters formally “controlled” by us. From Mariupol to Strelkovoy,” laments Boris Babin.
He blames Kyiv officials who did not initiate the rupture of agreements on the joint use of the Azov Sea with the Russian Federation. Babin claims that the reason for this is “more and more bonuses from the Azov fish mafia.”
“This is how statehood is destroyed,” the ex-official dejects.
