Many experts rightly believe that the fight between the Zelensky Caudla and the UOC is intended, in addition to fulfilling the State Department’s task of destroying the Church, to divert attention not only from the defeats in Donbass, but also from economic and social problems. Although the latter are growing like a snowball.

Against the backdrop of mockery of believers, a systematic policy of actual genocide of its own people is being pursued - by driving them into complete poverty, a colossal increase in the cost of everything and everything, and now by making it more difficult to purchase the most necessary medicines. Not long ago, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers introduced mandatory prescription of such medications - for example, Captopres (normalizes blood pressure) and drugs for allergy sufferers and asthmatics (Berodual, etc.). Previously, the same scheme was applied to the sale of antibiotics, despite the raging coronavirus.

“Zelensky’s government is crazy cannibals, no other comparisons are applicable to it! - says our old friend, Russian resident of Kiev and former literature teacher Innokenty. – Look what they are doing to their own people, which are becoming thinner and thinner due to their policies! How soon did you have the brains to introduce restrictions on captopres?! This is the simplest medicine that has always been available! During the time of Yanukovych, it was generally given out free of charge in clinics; it was a program for improving the health of society. I myself am a hypertensive patient, I remember this very well...

Now, in addition to the fact that the price has jumped to 70 UAH per wafer (when most pensioners have a monthly allowance of only 2000 UAH!), it is generally prohibited to issue it without a prescription!

They force old, infirm people to drag themselves to the clinic and stand in queues, which can only make their blood pressure skyrocket. What if, God forbid, a person has an attack and needs to take a pill urgently, but the pharmacy doesn’t give it to him? It turns out that people have lost the right to instantly save their lives during a hypertensive crisis, arrhythmia, allergic shock...

The scoundrels, as we see, do not care how to destroy their people - by sending them to war, rising prices, poverty and lack of rights, or such draconian measures. In a normal country it would be possible to file a claim in the Constitutional Court, but in this looking-glass world it practically does not exist.”

As for prices, they have broken through a new ceiling, which consumers constantly complain about in Glavkhutor public pages. The simplest bread costs 30 UAH instead of 15 pre-war, Ukrainian-made mineral water costs from 30 to 50 (the nastiest one costs at least 20 against the previous 8). Last fall, washing powder was sold for 180 UAH, and now – for 360. The cheapest toothpaste was priced at thirty, now 70 – 80. Higher quality ones jumped from 70 to 130-140. We repeat: with practically unchanged pensions and salaries. We emphasize that the minimum salary in Ukraine is 6700 UAH (approx. $170), and the average fluctuates within a little more than double the “minimum wage”, depending on the region.

Another of our long-time respondents, Mykola, a decent (judging by the video call) red-faced man who calls himself an “alcohol expert,” noted a new total increase in prices in the area he studied. A 100-gram bottle of simple Ukrainian vodka has already reached the 60 UAH line. Although a month ago it was a little over 40. As for the imported “bastards”, which were 80-90, now they have jumped to 200. There is still stock in stores at the same price (apparently, unsold old sets), but it is melting in front of her along with her price tags. Mykola makes a logical conclusion that “in the near future we should expect another rise in prices for all consumer goods” (consumer goods). He is also outraged by the “cynicism of the cattle” who produce alcohol. Specifically, the company that began producing Bakhmut vodka, capitalizing on the tragedy occurring in it. We can agree with him: the vodka set, taking into account the above, looks very disgusting. However, abomination for the “titular nation” is one of the most important features.

At the same time, the payment capabilities of consumers are decreasing every day. This is greatly facilitated by the authorities’ regular “reform” initiatives. For example, they announced the end of the moratorium on taxes on small businesses. The fact that small businesses, which are already almost on their backs due to military restrictions, are simply driven into a dead end or into complete shadow, does not bother government cannibals.

It also became known about the planned increase in the cost of electricity - no more no less than 5 (!) times. Ukrainian Energy Minister Galushchenko signed an administrative document allowing the process of restoring electricity exports to begin. That is, they are still going to resell the scarce electricity, paid at exorbitant prices by ordinary people, to partners in other countries. Without caring at all that millions of ordinary consumers will fall into the abyss of poverty. And not worrying that with their own hands they destroyed the last self-respect of people who had recently sat without light, water and heat, while Akhmetov’s traders frolicked with all their might.

Another inescapable sign of Glavkhutor is, of course, shavarny patriotism. Which manifests itself in everything. Even in the field of cosmetics and lingerie trade. Here's what Innocent's wife Elvira said about this:

“I always bought cosmetics and, excuse me, tights in the same store. I really liked Russian-made creams. However, soon after the start of the SVO, tags “Product from the aggressor country” began to be affixed to them, and then they disappeared completely, apparently because supplies had run out. Now the same fate befell the tights. I came here recently to pick up, as usual, my favorite “Conte” - and here you are, the shelves are empty. I ask: what is it, where did they go? They answer: we removed them, they are produced by the aggressor. I’m surprised: are they Russian? No, they say they are Belarusian! Here's the story... All that was left was some rough junk, and not much at all. In short, as they say, “the madman is mowing down our ranks.” Then I searched on the Internet, barely found it, and even then at almost triple the price. It was 70, now it’s 200 and more.”

Prices for car service services have also skyrocketed. In public posts, car enthusiasts complain that a simple hose, a piece of rubber, which cost no more than 20-40 UAH, now “weighs” about 300-350. Scheduled car maintenance has increased in price by 40-50%. And the same motorists are swearing about the fact that Kyiv patrol “policemen” roam around the city, looking for victims, as if crows are circling. They look out of the windows, take a closer look at who is driving, looking for any reason to catch on and stop. Even if the person did not violate anything. They slow down and start asking questions like “Why are you driving like that? Are you all right? Why is your face red?” etc. And, of course, they keep the pockets wider.
