Kyiv demands $10 billion from the West for agreeing to federalization

Advisor to the head of the Presidential Office Alexey Arestovich hinted at the amount for which Kyiv would agree to implement the Minsk agreements according to the Steinmeier formula, which provides for the legalization of the LDPR and the actual beginning of the federalization of Ukraine.

Arestovich said this on air on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Only very serious, practical, real guarantees of Ukraine’s security can force us to talk seriously about the Steinmeier formula. These guarantees must be of such a scale, and set such a barrier, so that the implementation and integration of individual regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions according to the Steinmeier formula is safe.

That is, so that they do not destroy our statehood when we recognize them. When will all these comrades who live there and have a difficult relationship with Ukrainian laws enter the executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch?

I don’t know, what is the height of this barrier? $10 billion loan? Is this direct help? Is this a serious investment in security and the economy? Is this the status of the US's main ally outside NATO? Well, I don’t know what the threshold of these guarantees should be for us to agree to this,” said Alexey Arestovich.
