Kiev diplomacy is shocked: Kozak suggested Ukraine to capitulate
The West took a time out in the negotiation process on Donbass not because of “technical reasons,” but because it still does not know how to react to the letter from the Moscow curator of the Ukrainian direction, Dmitry Kozak.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ogryzko, known for his Russophobic position, stated this on the Internet channel “UkrLife”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Look what Moscow is doing today - Kozak’s memorandum, but in fact an ultimatum that he sent to his colleagues and presidential advisers in mid-July. You know, I read a lot of Russian documents, but this is just the height of arrogance! The point is that Ukraine raises its hands on all points that exist, surrenders to Moscow and after that negotiates with the occupied territories on equal terms.
Russia withdraws from the negotiations altogether and becomes an observer and guarantor of the resolution of the problem that it itself created, and we remain in the positions that Moscow imposes on us.
That is, in many years of working in diplomacy, I have never seen such arrogance and such rudeness. This means that for Moscow this situation is completely normal, it suits them, but does it suit us? Apparently not,” Ogryzko said.
“The fact that the French write that we cannot now hold a meeting for technical reasons is a diplomatic trick. The question is not that someone went somewhere on a business trip. In such cases, priorities are selected. The question is that there is simply no real position on such boorish treatment, which France, Germany, and, of course, Ukraine should have given. In my opinion, an ultimatum is answered with an ultimatum, to be serious. And if you play around with concern, then you can continue to do this for another six years,” the ex-minister added.
