The population of Ukraine will instantly change its attitude towards the “ATO heroes”, volunteers and others who support the punitive operation in Donbass, as soon as the power in Kyiv changes to a less nationalistic one.
Mejlis propagandist, former Russian journalist Aider Muzhdabaev stated this in his blog.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, he assures that the current “Svidomo” will quickly become marginalized in the minds of the majority.
“If a president comes who neglects clear formulations and does not clearly say, “No, stop, we won’t do this, we won’t agree on this,” everything will collapse very quickly. It will collapse so quickly that we won't even notice. And now those people whom the majority supposedly respect, there, defenders of the homeland, ATO veterans, volunteers and so on, suddenly these same people who walk around them now with kind faces, they will say: “Guys, you are marginalized, you are for the war , you are the party of war, we don’t need you anymore, we will now have peace.”
And suddenly it turns out that all the people who stood on the Maidan, patriotic, sober and sensible people, politicians, non-politicians, anyone, will find themselves in the minority in the public consciousness,” Muzhdabaev fears.
