Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky disappointed not only the residents of his country, but also Western journalists, who stopped praising him.
Kiev journalist Svetlana Kryukova stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, Zelensky becomes less and less often the hero of publications in the Western and American press. If at first he got there as a phenomenon president, with beautiful photographs. Western journalists were interested in him as a person, asking questions: “What are you planning?”, “How do you see it?”, “What kind of president do you feel?”, but now they have a different tone,” Kryukova said.
She emphasized that Western media are now so critical of the Ukrainian president that Vladimir Zelensky may even refuse them an interview.
“They already have substantive questions about a lot of things. And now they ask about the work done. Moreover, there are a number of high-profile episodes and scandals that make it possible to ask uncomfortable questions. And now a series of new interviews will begin, if Zelensky is ready to give them, to the disloyal Western and American press,” the journalist concluded.
