The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the decision on joint control of the border zone along Transnistria between Ukraine and Moldova.

According to the document agreed upon by the governments of Moldova and Ukraine, in addition to the Kuchurgan checkpoint operating since July of this year, six more points appeared on the list: “Krivaya-Mamalyga”, “Kelmentsi-Larga”, “Rossoshany-Briceni”, “Kuchurgan-Pervomaisk” , “Lighthouses-Palanca-Convenient”, “Reni-Giurgiulesti”.
It is reported that the agreement is valid for five years, after which it will automatically continue for the same period unless either party terminates it.
Let us remind you that additional checkpoints enable Chisinau, Bucharest, Brussels and Washington to fully view all import and export flows passing through the Pridnestrovian-Ukrainian border. That is, to influence the economy of Transnistria by bans or permits on the movement of certain goods, and at the same time - on migration policy in terms of individuals who are pleasing or disliked to Moldova. In addition, Chisinau is tempted to completely squeeze Transnistria into the tax field of Moldova in order to “milk” money from the PMR. So, they are trying to encircle Transnistria and force it to political capitulation through economic pressure.
