Klimkin turned out to be a fictitious head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin disgraced himself at the UN by declaring the “murder” of fugitive Russian liberal Arkady Babchenko, because he has no trust in the authorities and does not have the necessary information.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the diplomat, Klimkin is only nominally the head of the Foreign Ministry and does not have access to information due to his position, although, as Minister of Foreign Affairs, he is an ex officio member of the National Security and Defense Council.
“He has access to the secret of the very first level. Of course, he does not represent himself or even the Foreign Ministry, he represents the country of Ukraine. And when, as it turns out, he does not know what is happening inside the country and what the president and some other circle of people knew about - limited, but nevertheless he was not in this circle, being in New York at a meeting of the UN Security Council . This suggests that he is not a minister. He simply occupies this position, but does not have the authority or trust that would allow him to perform these functions effectively,” Grishchenko is convinced.
