Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin proposed several types of sanctions against Russia to the Europeans, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I proposed several types of sanctions to my colleagues. I will deliberately not talk about everyone. Starting with personal sanctions against those who took part in acts of aggression against Ukraine, but also limiting the capabilities of Russian Azov ports... I heard preliminary support for such sanctions,” Klimkin said, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The minister also added that the decision to impose sanctions against Russia requires detailed analysis.

“We need two types of measures. Sanctions that Russia would feel. And we will work on these sanctions... The second is assistance to the Ukrainian Donbass and the Ukrainian south,” the diplomat explained, adding that we could talk about EU participation in financing infrastructure projects in the east and south of Ukraine.
