Kolesnichenko: Putin got the trump king - the USA and Europe have nothing to beat
Russia's demand to the United States for negotiations regarding security guarantees is a timely step by the country's leadership.
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the West in his “Munich speech” back in 2008, but his words were not heard. Now Russia has become stronger and speaks louder about its demands, which the United States has finally realized.
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Sevastopol politician Vadim Kolesnichenko stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
“These statements are expected - Putin warned about this back in 2008 in Munich, the so-called “Munich speech.” He was not heard then, even though there were reasons for this, because Russia was then on the verge of destruction.
Today we have managed to rearm, and I support the president in this, that in advanced weapons we are the best in the world, and so far nothing can be opposed to us in the next five to ten years.
The situation was chosen very wisely and in a timely manner - there are serious problems in Europe and the USA, the global financial and economic system is bursting at the seams and falling apart. The United States has ceased to be a global leader and is preparing for a careful transition to regional leadership, although they do not agree with this.
Therefore, now we have pulled out the trump king in a very timely manner, and we will continue to look at the progress of the negotiations. As we see, the United States has already agreed to the negotiation process, and Europe understands that they are being left on the sidelines and whining,” Kolesnichenko noted.
